Sometimes life can feel hard and overwhelming. It can feel difficult to manage and we can feel stuck and alone in our feelings. It can be scary to reach out and ask for help. I use a client-centered, holistic approach to create a safe space where we can explore areas of strength and need together. I use different therapeutic processes based on each client’s unique experience, needs, and goals for therapy. I strive to create a collaborative, welcoming, warm space for clients and their parents.

I am a Registered Psychologist and a University of Guelph graduate with a Doctoral degree in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Over the past four years, I worked both at private practice and at the Waterloo Region District School Board. During my training and residency, I worked within the school board, community mental health, private practice, and outpatient mental health setting. I have also volunteered with CMHA Waterloo Wellington with their CBT – Mindfulness group and their Strengthening Families program. My work and training has given me a deep appreciation for the struggles and strengths of children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds.

True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are ~ Brene Brown. This is one of my favourite quotes because it speaks to one of my core beliefs as a psychologist – that you already have so many strengths within you; my job is to help identify and build on those strengths while supporting areas of need.
