Issues

In life, challenges are inevitable. We may wish to never experience them, but it’s how we respond to life’s challenges that defines who we are, and how we think, feel, and behave. Sometimes, we’re not equipped to helpfully respond to these challenges alone. I use empirically supported techniques and tailor therapy to accommodate each client’s experience to help them meet their needs and achieve their goals. The therapeutic relationship is at the core of my work. By building this relationship, we can better assess your problems and strengths, and collaborate on treatment goals. In this supportive and non-judgmental space, we can increase mental flexibility and develop coping strategies to help confidently face life’s challenges.

I am a Clinical Therapist with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Adler Graduate Professional School, and I am working towards my registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). Over the past six years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults providing therapy and assessment services in various settings. Most notable is my experience at a non-profit agency working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety and depression, assessing children for giftedness within the HWDSB, providing therapy at a university counseling center and working with adults experiencing severe OCD within a hospital inpatient unit.
