Hello! I’m Celina.
I provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services for children, adolescents, adults, and parents. My areas of clinical focus include neurodevelopmental assessments and the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. I approach both therapy and assessment with flexibility, tailoring each experience to your unique goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I aim to create a warm, genuine, creative, and safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re looking for an active, change-focused therapy or a space for reflective, supportive conversation, I adapt my style to meet your needs. My therapeutic work is grounded in an understanding of the interconnectedness between thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and the body. In assessment, I take a data-informed, question-driven approach—selecting tools based on what will best answer your or your child’s specific concerns.
I am currently completing my registration as a Clinical Psychologist (Supervised Practice) with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. My supervisors are Dr. Ashley Legate and Dr. Kate Spere. I hold a Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Waterloo, with training across the lifespan and a foundation in developmental psychology. I completed my residency at the Children’s Hospital, Parkwood Institute, and the Child and Parent Resource Institute, where I provided assessment and treatment for neurodevelopmental disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, sexualized behaviours, personality patterns, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. I’ve also worked in school and community settings and take a systems-informed lens when making individualized, practical recommendations that fit the environments where clients live, learn, and grow.
Fun Facts About Me: I have a fox red lab and a ragdoll cat and am a huge animal lover! I also love to craft in my free time, and it is an important part of my self-care routine.
