Issues

Are you are feeling anxious, depressed or burnt out? Or is your child struggling to manage their
big emotions? Have you wondered if it has to be that way? I believe therapy is an effective way
to gain control and to improve mental health so that you or your child can thrive in daily life. I
start with understanding where you or your child are now and collaboratively, we set goals and
develop a plan to get you where you want to be. I am passionate about my work and am
committed to helping people work on their mental health and live a full life. My goal is to provide
a safe, inclusive place where you feel heard and understood.

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario to work with
children, teens, and adults. I opened a psychology clinic in 2014, which became Kitchener
Psychology Centre and is now Reflections Mental Health Group. I obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical
Psychology with an Applied Developmental Emphasis from the University of Guelph.  My clinical
training included work at a local school board, the Selective Mutism Service at McMaster
Children’s Hospital, a pre-doctoral internship at Hamilton Health Sciences, and placements at
kidsLINK and the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph. I am also an
adjunct faculty member at the University of Waterloo, where I supervise clinical psychology
students as part of their training.

I live in Ayr with my husband and three sons. I enjoy spending time in nature, hanging out with
my family, friends, and many pets, and cheering on my sons in their sports.
