Are you a caregiver looking for extra support in understanding and guiding a highly sensitive child with big emotions? Is your child in need of support with managing their emotions or navigating life’s ups and downs? Are you interested in better understanding your own feelings and reactions to life’s challenges? In my practice, I focus on creating a warm and supportive environment rooted in authenticity, compassion, and collaboration. I use a client centered approach to help individuals enhance their emotional awareness, work through difficult emotions, and find more fulfilment in their lives and relationships. I believe in the importance of feeling safe and understood during times of change, so I make it a priority to build a trusting and welcoming relationship with my clients. And, every now and then, I like to sprinkle in a little humour because I believe laughter can truly be a powerful part of the healing journey.

I am a Registered Psychologist and a University of Guelph graduate with a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. I completed my residency at the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, and have also worked within the Thames Valley and Hamilton-Wentworth District School boards, the Child and Youth Mental Health Program at Hamilton Health Sciences, and the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph. I also hold a position as a sessional lecturer at the University of Guelph, where I teach undergraduate students in the psychology program.

When I need to unwind, nothing brings me more ease than a Lake Huron sunset and a great playlist.
