Is your child or teen struggling with reading, writing, math, attention, or keeping up in class? Are you a student looking to better understand how you learn? In my work at Reflections, I focus on psycho-educational assessment, helping children, teens, and their caregivers understand learning strengths and challenges, clarify questions about learning disabilities, ADHD, or giftedness, and identify necessary supports and accommodations. I use a collaborative, client-centred approach and make it a priority for the assessment process to feel comfortable and welcoming, and to end with recommendations that make a real difference at home and at school.
I am a Registered Psychologist and a University of Guelph graduate with a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. I completed my residency at the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, and have also worked within the Thames Valley and Hamilton-Wentworth District School boards, the Child and Youth Mental Health Program at Hamilton Health Sciences, and the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph. I have also taught as a sessional lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Guelph since 2022.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, ideally with a Lake Huron sunset and a great playlist.
