Issues

I collaborate with children, adolescents, and their caregivers to gain a better understanding of their strengths, learning profiles, emotional and behavioural challenges, and mental wellbeing. I love working with clients who want to explore the things that are preventing them from being the best version of themselves. I use psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as supportive and active listening, to help clients feel safe learning about themselves and learning new ways to overcome life’s challenges. Importantly, I want clients to feel like I’m on their team, supporting their goals, and sometimes using humour or silliness along the way! I strive to provide an accepting space for clients to reflect and learn about themselves and learn new ways to navigate the complicated world around them.

I am a registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I have graduate training in School & Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. I have extensive assessment and intervention experience, working in school boards and private practice. I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, especially autistic youth and ADHDers.

The love of my life is my adorable dog named Penny Lane!
